Inspired by Chaz Azn travel postings, I went to dig up my old travel photos to Russia (Moscow). It is my most favourite tour so far, Russia is a beautiful country and the people are so nice.

No, I didn't go St Petersburg but heard from a friend who went both that St Petersburg is nicer and more interesting than Moscow.

Ok I just googled and found that racism and xenophobia seems bad nowadays indeed. During then, I didn't feel it from the Russians that I come across at work and on tour.

USSR already dissolved by then but still had travelling restrictions like need invite letter for incoming visitors and for their people to visit other countries too. Not sure about tourist but in my case I did have a company invite letter issued by my customer.
