Doing what he likes, playing football. Any reason why MINDEF so hush hush about this?

SINGAPORE: A 31-year-old regular serviceman of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) died last month in the US state of Idaho, where he was attached to the Mountain Home Air Force Base.

David Chan Kok Leong, who was an engineer, died on 28 September in hospital, according to an obituary published in the Idaho Statesman on 29 September.

Channel NewsAsia understands that he collapsed during a soccer match which was not related to his RSAF training.

A Facebook posting by one of Chan's friends said he had an accident during the match. He then went into a coma and died.

From several Facebook postings, it was clear the serviceman was a soccer fan and supported Manchester United.

His body now lies in the Rost Funeral Home at Mountain Home, said a spokesperson for the home.

His family has requested for privacy.

Last month news now than inform us?

So transparent SAF?

Singaporeans don't need nor care for transparency. Transparency is for idealistic ang mohs with nothing better to do. Majulah PAP! :D

The young and muscular gym rats die aplenty these days.

Haha okay, that's their destiny. It's not our prerogative to follow them.

lianbeng salutes David Chan Kok Leong for dying for the Nation while on duty n sends condolences to his bereaved family.:(

Lianbeng the gay cockslurper excrement chink should follow them to their graves.

I stand by what I feel is right.

Again, I say it is not our prerogative to follow these distinguished people. Useless ugly pretend-to-be-cute cocksucking garbage lianbeng included.
