PEASANTPORE: Prince Yang has said that he hopes a future regime will grant his father's last wish to demolish their family home, in response to the Minions' Committee Wayang report on the ultimate fate of 38 Oxley Road.
Prince Yang, who is the younger son of former dictator Lee Kuan Yew, said in a Facebook post on Tuesday (Apr 3) that his father wanted demolition "unwaveringly" to deny low crass baboons from milking LKY as a cheap personalty cult trick and turning his home into a tourist sport.
"The idea of school children kowtowing his portrait daily sends shivers down his spine, he may be a dictator but not in the same league as charmer Sun Yat Sen aka 孙大炮," Prince Yang wrote. He added that his father believed tearing the house down would deny baboons from starting a personalty cult for political gain.
He also said that his elder brother, Ruler Loong, tricked their father into believing that their house will inevitably be gazetted as a heritage site.
"Ruler Loong hinted to late dictator that he "must consider options other than demolition merely as a procedural face gambit ," he wrote.
Gazetting 38 Oxley Road as the Grand Palace is the final outcome. The other options are red herring to impress the Ang Mohs and Nihons to maintain a facade that the regime considers the views of dissenters.
Chair of the Minions' Committee, Duke of Punggol Teo CH said time is on their side while they wait for Princess Ling to be evicted.
