Roy should have known better that he will be sued for writing those stuff about CHC. Instead of explaining why CPF is not misappropriation of funds like CHC, it is easier for someone to sue to shut the fuck up anyone who thinks it is misappropriation of funds.

Just like the disappearance of MH370........in fact, if that blogger had used this as illustration, he has a better chance of convincing......like.....this:

1. CPF is still around because the pings can still be heard but when everyone search for it, cannot find it.

2. It takes air, sea, underwater and satellite equipment and expertise to look for our CPF because the area is size of 10 India.
C'mon, 1 India oredi stinks like shit, 10 India how to tahan?

3. Every other week, move the search area, just like keep moving the retirement age from 55 to 62 to 65 to 67. Liddat, you keep guessing when you can see your CPF.

4. If all else fails to convince, then confuse everyone by giving motherhood statement like "It's unprecedented. We're living longer and inflation keeps going up and up and up, but we're not withholding your CPF, just like we're not withholding any info on MH370 disappearance.

5. Just like the relatives of MH370, you can scream, shout, throw water bottles, cry and faint, but your CPF has travelled a long distance from it's original route and when run out of ideas to explain, it just run out of fuel and ended its flight somewhere you don't expect it to be.

6. If you try to find your CPF, take note that there is no debris. You will never find it even though everyone pretend to find it, because it never was supposed to be found as it is just one big cover up.

7. All options are still being investigated. Your CPF could be hijacked, equipment malfunction, a fire in the cockpit, lithium batteries, mangosteen overload, suicide, landed somewhere on earth safely or this CPF never took flight in the first place. Who the fuck knows, don't ask and you'll not be lied to, ok.

8. Your CPF situation is like no proper closure, whether dead or alive, nobody knows because the MH370 is not found and may never be found in your life-time or earth's life-time.

He seems to be able to talk on the spot without referring to scripts as compared to so many of those MIWs.
You are now watching the making of another future opposition party leader.

You don't need a script. I could achieve more spontaneity with this lot by holding them at gunpoint from behind the camera.

you can be sure now he is being marked, and i seriously think pm lee is not doing right this time.

this gen Y 有种 and people make a blunder sometime, LHL made more blunders than anyone else and was told to resign some more.

At least this gen Y stood up for the balless and shameless baby boomers who did not stood up for themselves.

This blunders draw out PM, also keepers of your CPF money, to the open and open more cans of worms for him which is good.

PM started the law suit and go with it, the PM has more to lose than win the case. Come 2016 he will lose his AMK GRC if the case drag t 2016.

He was like this young man when he speak as an opposition leader for Singapore, strong and committed.

The people will get him into parliament for sure, the way they get old fart into parliament.

“But we either believe in democracy or we not. If we do, then, we must say categorically, without qualification, that no restraint from the any democratic processes, other than by the ordinary law of the land, should be allowed… If you believe in democracy, you must believe in it unconditionally. If you believe that men should be free, then, they should have the right of free association, of free speech, of free publication. Then, no law should permit those democratic processes to be set at nought.”
- Lee Kuan Yew as an opposition leader, April 27, 1955

“If it is not totalitarian to arrest a man and detain him, when you cannot charge him with any offence against any written law – if that is not what we have always cried out against in Fascist states – then what is it?… If we are to survive as a free democracy, then we must be prepared, in principle, to concede to our enemies – even those who do not subscribe to our views – as much constitutional rights as you concede yourself.”
- Opposition leader Lee Kuan Yew, Legislative Assembly Debates, Sept 21, 1955

Making speeches is easy. Running a country is a different kettle of fish altogether.

The PAP does not believe in rhetoric. It concentrates on what it does best and that is in making Singapore prosperous and successful.

really, by switch rules and your rights to free speech?

This Roy character is no different. What he says now in his speeches is exactly what LKY said when he was that age.

However, if Roy ever becomes PM, he'll change his tune completely. All politicians are like that.. no exceptions.

Not sure if you are right. I thought they have their own unique brand of rhetoric, like "mee Siam Mia hum". But their best has to be this,

“If you’re the best today, strive to be better. If you’re better today, strive to be ‘betterer’ and if you’re ‘betterer’ today, strive to be ‘betterest’ so that over time, Singapore’s service standards can just keep getting better, ‘betterer’ and ‘betterest’.”

At gunpoint behind the camera, these bunch of young chaps will ended up giving "robotic speech" as what we've seen. Not natural.
