To look at the time, Casio watch will do, or even the $10 watches you see everywhere...or your mobile/cell/hand phone....Rolex watch is for showing off opulence. When you are wearing it on your left hand or right hand, when you talk to someone, you must constantly wave those hands....ha ha ha

wow even the bezel is black.

Rolex watch has 2 purposes:
- If you wanna wear it, maybe can consider resale. The value is not likely to drop much after you sell it a few years later, given the same condition.
- If you wanna invest, go for new premium models and try not to wear it (mint condition). It is true that premium rolex watches do appreciate over times. Like HDB BTO, new batches are priced slightly higher than older batches to support the overall market price (excluding CHF and Euro FX fluctuations).

Not really.. some range quite appealing....
A submariner cost $3300 some 20 years ago..

A good investment.. china mei2 enthralled by it and want to touch it...
