this is a serious thread for sure. american creators of the 6-ton megabot mark 2 are throwing a one-on-one challenge to the japanese creators of the 4.5-ton kuratas robot. robot geeks are hoping the japanese will answer affirmatively.

ok, most likely it is using a new combustion technology.....partially premixed combustion (ppc).

most likely it has to be a "knockout" like in the battlebot format, where one side incapacitates the other by smashing it into pieces, flipping it over and it cannot move again, disabling traction control and the main motor, holding it down and immobile for a count of 10, and causing a major malfunction or total breakdown.
