i still remember watching Flashdance in Prince or Jade cinema in Beach Rd.

Have they reclaimed the land there in the 1980s? I believe back in the day, Beach Road literally meant a road by the side of the beach.

Now that building has been torn down and a new one coming up.

I miss the old building. While waiting to cross the road towards Middle Road, if the sliding doors opened you could feel the cool aircon air.

And, if I remember correctly, the original satay club was there B4 reclamation.
