Dr Lim Hock Siew, Singapore's second longest-held political detainee, has died.

The 81-year-old is understood to have died on Monday night. He suffered from kidney failure in 2009.

Dr Lim was a founding member and leader of Barisan Sosialis, the party formed by a splinter group of the People's Action Party in 1961.

Old Fart must be displaying that smirk across his face when he hears this..

Same like those whenever he trumps his opponents in 'his Court'

and one more thing, sure NO gun carriage funeral for this one and so he thought.

Looks more and more like Lky will outlive his opponents....

Left:
1) Said Zahari
2) Fong Swee Suan
3) Dr Poh Soo Kai
4) Chia Thye Poh

"Harry, come join me leh! Mai tu liao! Faster come!"

Wasn't he the one who challenged Tony Tan to categorically declare him as a "terrorist"?
