KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 16 — Malaysia should have waged war on Singapore to keep Pulau Batu Puteh instead of bringing the dispute to the International Court of Justice, Utusan Malaysia columnist Ridhuan Tee Abdullah wrote in an editorial today.

In a sharply-worded piece touching on criticisms by Singapore founding father Lee Kuan Yew (picture) in his book “One Man’s View of the World”, Tee said the republic was fortunate he was not the prime minister of Malaysia during the time.

“I certainly would not bring the matter to the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The only resolution to the dispute is war,” he wrote further.

“The world has witnessed the loss of Malay land to the ultra kiasu.

“Today, Malays are humiliated, but ‘we’ remain silent,” he added.

The SG govt is not worth its salt, because it has spent too much time and resources on spies, moles and agents in SG on Opposition political parties, civic bodies, professional societies and associations, bloggers, critics, etc and it is very busy fixing them using People's Association, Hawkers' Association, NEA, AIM and what not.

In any event, you have a distorted view of the Old Guard's abilities. The most they can do is to make things a little bit troublesome for the m&ds. They have no ability to fix anybody there because they have no control over the government agencies, public institutions, courts, etc of a country that is many times the size of little Pee Sai. If they were so able, SG would not have been kicked out of Malaysia. SG had been kicked out of Malaysia precisely because the Old Guard at that time were so incompetent that they allowed themselves to be fixed by Umno, MCA and others.
