SINGAPORE – Former Cabinet minister Richard Hu Tsu Tau, who was Singapore’s longest-serving finance minister, a post he held from 1985 to 2001, died on Friday.

He was 96.

His death was disclosed in a Facebook post on Friday evening by People’s Action Party (PAP) member Lee Hong Chuang.
