Revisit the best shootout in movie history.

I leemember Heat was one of ze RA movies that got me hooked on neo noir movies

Heat was fucking solid. The bank heist scene with danny elfman's music thumping in the background, fuck yeah

Michael Mann is the man, non pun intended. The making is just as great as the movie itself. Unfortunately he couldn't recreate another masterpiece after this and his later movies were all meh...

There's been a theory that Tom Cruise's character in Collateral is the brother of De Niro's character in heat, given they are similarly attired and both demonstrate restrained bravado

All Fuck Off!
Le Femme Nikita, Restaurant Shoot is probably the best.

The Professional. 90s movie produced great shoot out scenes. I remember my brother rented the movie's laser disc. We watched it on our family's first home theater set. Sad ending when Leon was killed after this epic shootout.
