It's sad that many Singaporeans are living overseas. There are 200,000 Singaporean living overseas, with 50,000 of them in Australia and another 40,000 in GB. I forsee more to come by 2030. And our daft government is not putting up enough incentives to retain them, instead of concentrating on bring FTs in.
A small portion of my family and friends have already done so, and there is a growing sentiment to leave the country amongst those still in Singapore. Resentment against the government is growing and generally most agreed the government has made blunders, that changes Singapore and affects our lives. The sad fact, is due to the deeply ingrained law abiding mentality of most Singaporeans, many do not wish to actively oppose the government, due to the hassle or fear, instead, they rather leave quietly.
