July 21, 2016: Racial Harmony Day
Racial Harmony Day falls on July 21 every year in Singapore to commemorate the 1964 Race Riots, (which took place on July 21, 1964 and also known as the communal riots of 1964) to remind Singaporeans about the importance of maintaining racial and religious harmony in the country.
Racial Harmony Day started in 1997 as part of the national curriculum in public school in Singapore.
Aug 29, 2016: CNA screens "Race, Politics And Economy" (with Acting Education Minister Ong Ye Kung)

So far Lawrence Wong and Ong ke Yung have been assigned politically sensitive things. Ong's background and loyalty is known but not Wong's but it seems to leaning heavily towards LHL as he was assigned to managed CSJ for GE2015. So far the dirty work and party biddings over time has been assigned to Viv, Balakrishnan, Shanmugam, Khaw, Lim Swee Say, Chan Chun Sing and Teo Cheen Hean. In Tharman's camp is Heng and Tan Chuan Jin. Lim Hng Kiang and LHL have the longest relationship is OMS days and the loyalty is clear. Yaacob is a classic role player - asking him to any ministry and he will know how to apply the party line not as loyalist but he probably thinks that is what is wanted. Masagoes and Iswaran appears to make the numbers.
