I will not let this Government lead my family and my lives. Thank you Roy Ngerng. You will change history. Singaporeans have been so afraid of the Government and their "Law" that nobody had really spoken up to reach the Government. He should NOT be prosecuted, investigated and accused. He should NOT be sued by his Country's Leader.
Will your parents sue you when you ask them why they are keeping your red packets? - they will answer you it's to save for your future in the bank. And you do have access to the bank - or at least the statement. And you DO see the money in your bank 5 years later.
I am absolutely disappointed towards our Government as no other boards or ministers have spoken up, therefore in silence supporting our Prime Minister.
This is the Leaders of the Country we call home, work endlessly, barely meet ends, still hoping for a future and bring new borns to this country and even purchasing BTOs to not only zeroize our CPF - not mentioning many other factors how our Government is using our CPF.
By calculating the earnings of our Prime Minister, the approx in 2012, his monthly wage is the upwards of $300,000.
How will you feel if the old elderly cleaning the toilets, picking up rubbish under the hot sun 7 days a week were to be your parents or your children's future, or you? Not to forget, they are earning less than $900 a month in this current first class country status in 2014.
I believe many many, many of us are afraid to speak up or question because we realise how the Government will use the Law against us. Singaporeans have attuned to being silenced.

On 8 May 2014, the Central Provident Fund Board, a statutory board under the Ministry of Manpower, released the news that the Minimum Sum that will apply to CPF members who turn 55 between 1 July 2014 and 30 June 2015 is $155,000.
In addition, the Medisave Minimum Sum will be raised to $43,500 from $40,500. A member may need to have both these amounts before any excess funds can be withdrawn.
At a time when Singapore is ranked as the most expensive place to live in the world, where Singaporeans yet continue to receive the lowest wages among the high-income countries, CPF is akin to an additional tax on our income.
Historically, we may have the lowest real rate of return of all national pension funds in the world.
An estimated only 1 in 8 Singaporeans who reach age 55, were able to meet the CPF Minimum Sum and Medisave Minimum Sum, entirely in cash from their CPF accounts.
There is no transparency and accountability towards how the government is using our CPF monies, or the returns derived from CPF funds.
All these despite MPs calling for higher rates, improvements to our CPF system practically every year.
It is undesirable that after working till the age of 55, Singaporeans are unable to take out their CPF and retire with many elderly resorting to collecting cardboards or selling tissues papers to sustain their daily needs.
As such, this event aims to highlight the inadequate measures in place to protect the retirement needs of Singaporeans.
