Hi folks wondering if anyone can share your experience with applying for a retirement visa in chiangmai. According to the immigration office it is fairly straightforward. Just show up with financial proof of at least 800 thousand baht in a thai bank and a one year visa will be granted. Can anyone with getting a thai retirement visa share your experience? Would also be grateful for any other useful input about living in chiangmai. Thanks.
