[21/07, 10:46] +60 16-358 7278: English football legend Kevin Keegan played for the Harimau Malaysia squad—a developmental and backup national team—during the 1984 Merdeka Tournament.
Invited by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) to serve as both a player and a mentor, Keegan captained the side. In his opening match at Merdeka Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, he scored both goals to lead the team to a 2–0 victory over Pakistan.
