Rent hawker stall directly from NEA to sell angmoh kopi for $2.5 per cup. Possible to achieve sustainable profit ?

The PAP regime been trying to blur the lines between a kopitiam and a non-aircon food court for quite a while.

Similarly, it is also trying to blur the lines between a traditional hawker centre, and a non-aircon food court operated by F&B cronies.

I can see that, the distinction between these places does feel less clear than it used to be.

To help the vacant stall have new vibe, NEA should invite all those home-base FNB to come take over
Start with cheap rental, $500 per stall with their first contract

I see many empty stalls at Ghim Moh hawker centre

I am thinking to rent a stall from nea directly and sell freshly brew coffee at $2.5 per cup

Can make profit ?
Excluding the cost of ingredients, a quick and simple way to determine whether it is possible to break even is to divide the sum of the monthly rent, utilities, wages by $2.50 which equals the number of cups of coffee that your business has to generate.
Your business may sell other higher margin items
