Reminder: Jurong West 'hawker centre' is a fake hawker centre. Think of it as a non-aircon food court run by a F&B crony. In this case: Chang Cheng Holdings.

Fake 'hawker centres' are mostly built during the last decade or so, during Pinky's reign and after the campaign to run 'social enterprise hawker centres' was initiated by the butch Elim Chew.

A few of them might be existing vintage hawker centres given over to the F&B cronies. Notable examples on the list: Whampoa Drive and Old Airport Road.
