'Rent-a-boyfriend' service in Japan helps women sleep at night

If you hire one of these Japanese men through the Soine-ya Prime website, you can have him sleep in your arms, go out for a date and unwind while he cooks and cleans for you -- only in Japan, of course.

Soine-ya Prime, the company behind the 'rent-a-boyfriend' service, is inspired by a Japanese television drama about a woman who has trouble sleeping after coming out of a divorce.

In the drama, the woman finds that by just lying down beside a man at night, she is able to sleep peacefully. After that, she starts a soine-ya ('sleep together shop') that dispatches young men for the purpose of sleeping with lonely women.

Soine-ya Prime, however, asserts that, like the business in the drama, it does not offer its clients any sexual services.

Clients are not allowed to touch the genitals of these Japanese men or reach under their clothes, take showers together, contact them in private without the permission of Soine-ya Prime, and are disallowed from having any form of intimate contact such as kissing.

Pricing for the 'standard plan' starts at 30,000 yen (S$445) for 7 hours. For a full 8 hours of rest you’re looking at 33,000 yen (S$488), and if you keep your man for a maximum of 12 hours, this will cost you a whopping 48,000 yen (S$708).

Yes, of course it's legal. Why are you so caught up with so many ill-informed info? Is it the PAP instilled so much fear
in so many that when there is no u-turn sign, drivers still dare not u-turn?

ok must start collecting the boys then...

You need to test each of them as pillows to committing to engage them. I can round up my village boys too to send them to you for testing... :D

yes one of the perks of being the boss !!!:D

No sex? Then what's the point of that? How about those women cook and clean for themselves, or hire domestic help?

If you want a 'boyfriend', a dildo and a pet cat will take that role.

It is already an established industry. It is called an escort service. This is just a specialised form of it. All escort agencies claim no knowledge of sexual transactions.
