Renew Passport without going back to SG or SG Embassy?

Been asking around, and it seems that the gahmen want you to either go back to Singapore or one of their embassies to renew passport.

Is there anyway to renew passport 100% remotely via mail? I live in the US, if that helps.

depending on where you are in u.s., you can seek assistance from one of 4 sg overseas missions (embassy in washington d.c., consulates in sf and nyc, honorary consulate in miami) to have your new passport shipped to one of these locations for physical retrieval. your application can be submitted online via the "apples" system (application for passport online electronic system) or in person through one of these overseas missions. they don't mail new sg passport to your home address.
