Reminder: Next Year, we will be top 10 Asian Football nation. Looking forward to it.

Until Sinkieland's national football team can consistently beat Australia, Japan, the two Koreas, Thailand and at least four of the Middle Eastern/Central Asian countries, I say FAS is talking nonsense.

Just like Goal 2010... LOLOL! :D

Current FIFA ranking:

Singapore: 149th in the world, 27th in Asia.

Mongolians care about Mongolia. Singaporeans are mixed when it comes to world cup soccer. Some support Brazil, some England, some Germany, some Argentina, some even Cameroon, but not one supports Peesai! Who wants Singapore to win world cup? Nobody!

Cheers!

Of course no one cares about Singapore winning the World Cup. But they do care about making money. If Singapore makes it to the World Cup, they will be the longest shots to win, maybe at 1000 to 1. Now ask yourself how many bookies will want Singapore to win now? Alot!! The payoff is huge and with their match fixing abilities, who knows?

So how far have they shifted the goal post now? Still 2020? :D

Indeed, the Mongolian national anthem is way better than that Majulah turd composed by Zubir Said.

The Mongolian national anthem makes you feel the pride and grandness of Genghis Khan.

Singapore national anthem has vapid lyrics, annoying, repetitive tune and offers no substance. It's like the opening theme of a sitcom tv show. It must be embarrassing if you're a national athlete who won the gold medal and you have to endure listening to Majulah Singapura on the podium.

The odds are good precisely because the team is shit. It's the same for any team, any league, any competition. Bookmakers are not stupid.

With not much sponsors how to become top 10?
Always getting the same old sponsors like 100Plus, Ovaltine, Milo, Yeos, Great Eastern, S'pore Pools, what else?
Got Nike, Adidas, Puma and all other big players from the sports industry or not?

Big sponsors tend to prefer associating themselves with big winners.
No big company wants to associate themselves with minnows or losers. It's bad for corporate image.

Biased against four-eyes? Last time want to be pilot for RSAF cannot because four eyes! Now play football also cannot! Four eyes no future.

Cheers!

Because Sinkie Chinese players cannot see the ball without their spectacles. Nothing to do with the biased lah.

Back in 1975, Singapore played a visiting Brazilian team at Kallang Stadium. Me and some friends attended that game and we brought and waved a Singapore flag (I think my friend stole it from school), soon some cops came, told us we're not allowed to wave the national flag, and took the flag away from us. One of the said "Don't waste your time." I don't know whether to hate them or not (they were just doing their job), but the advice given was difficult to swallow.

Cheers!

I prefer Chan Mali Chan. More lively, and a better sing-along tune.

Cheers!

Our population base makes us unattractive for sponsors. Our soccer standards make it even less attractive. Neighbouring countries are better options.

Those sponsors we have are in for several reasons none of which is related to A&P.

Sinkieland soccer is the worst in South East Asia. Malaysia is much stronger.
