If you ask me, it's the Christian thing rather being Chinese that screwed Grace Quek up. I've seen Americans from the Bible Belt who far more conservative than the average Singaporean. One US friend of mine whose father was a Baptist minister complained to me that Singapore is full of girls who dress like sluts. I asked her what she meant, and she said spaghetti straps and very short shorts!
