What’s the purpose of displaying Muslim Owned shop/eatery?

Genuine question. I meant I can understand halal certified is important for food stalls. But Muslim owned? Just realised this when I was walking around Kg Glam area yesterday.

The explanation is straightforward: there is fierce rivalry for customers in that area. The word "Muslim owned" has no close association with serving genuinely good Halal foods.

Several bakeries and eateries have halal certs but they are owned by unclean infidels. Malays know chinks are big cheater bugs. Muslim owned, they are assured whenever they ate are not tainted with forbidden materials.

How about vegetarian stalls to put vegetarian owned?

I spotted those some staffs working in vegetarian eateries that I frequent are not vegetarian themselves.

But we know u people are the dirtiest..Every time walk past the mosque, it stinks terribly..

Save money. Halal cert cost money and also need pay renewal. Of cuz not 100% halal as they can use second hand or previous non halal owner kitchen appliances.
