Should I be getting overtime pay?​

Worked at this place as a dishwasher during my holiday break and was supposed to end by 4pm. At 3pm the manager (presumed?) Told me that I must finish washing everything before I can go back which kinda put me off cus no other places told me this before. She also said that no one will be coming to wash after but the place closes at 8pm??

I ended up getting off work 20 mins late. I don't know if I will be paid the extra 20 mins because they haven't updated my timeslot nor replied my messages. ( I booked the shift through an app)

I want to know if I should be getting overtime pay for the extra 20 mins I unwillingly had to do. Is it really legal for them to hold me back to do extra work even when I'm supposed to end at a specified time? What should I do if they don't pay me overtime?? Im never working there again, trust.
