Anyone else with a ‘bad guy face’ notice this at Woodlands Customs?
At Woodlands Customs, I’ve noticed a peculiar pattern with the officers near the passport scanning area.
Before I scan my passport, they glance in my direction but stay where they are. Then, as soon as the second barrier opens and I step through, they make a move as if heading toward me.
It's happened more than once, and it feels too deliberate to be coincidence. I suspect there's a standard procedure behind it. Maybe to test whether travellers show signs of nervousness, which they might equate with wrongdoing.
Experiencing this repeatedly leaves me feeling singled out, as though I'm being judged before I've even done anything.
