"Red Herring " caught in Marina Bay Sands Singapore

Police have arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with a power outage that occurred at a sector of the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) casino in Singapore.
The power outage occurred on 12 May. Police say investigations are ongoing.
When contacted, MBS would only confirm that it had made a police report. It said it would be "inappropriate to comment further as police investigations are ongoing".
Some reports said the blackout lasted for about an hour.
There was a similar incident on 4 May, when the lights went out during a speech by the Chief Justice of New South Wales at the Inter-Pacific Bar Association's (IPBA) conference.

it was reported in zaobao that the culprit allegedly logged on the website and remotely shut down the electricity in the casino...

would you believe it? Furthermore, it was reported that becos the engineer dulan the company, quit and committed the act.

I don't know who is more fucked up, the maintenance company who won the tender for setting up the system or MBS for having a sloppy security system. In either case, sounds like a scene from Ocean 11 / 12 / 13...LOL

Reported in Zaobao . English readers unaware what is going on .

Less you know the better .
