Recommend good hotels at Penang?

Wanted to suggest Lone Pine at Batu Ferringhi but closed for renovation until 3Q10. All rooms face the sea, beach front, small, run by Hainanese, great chinese cuisine, good night market etc.
Even you go to Penang, stay at Batu Ferringhi and wallop good hawker cuisine at Guerney Drive.
