Looking at upgrading to fibre soon. When I do upgrade it will provide more viewing options e.g. TV, movies that are online.

Has anyone tried the Apple TV? I heard that it's good for watching US channels. However I also want to watch the China content from China so is an android media player might be a better option:confused: Interested to hear what others have to say:)

Most content from China can't play smoothly and always stutters because of constant buffering, especially in HD. Take a look at those selling at SLS and you know what I mean.

Read about how some people are having problems with the speed of their connection to China. It's not clear if the problem is related to specific telcos or the duration of the problems:confused:
I've heard that Singtel customers are complaining of a drop in the speed of their connection from 9.30pm

I will probably be spending most of the time accessing the US sites but can't ignore China especially for the free stuff:)

I am looking at the Apple TV which is only $99 and something called Minix Neo X7 http://203.175.168.151/~momp/store/products/
Just wondering if I should pay more for the Android devices since they cost more

China Internet is quite fucked up... the speed is slow.

Data going in or coming out of China has to go through the Great Firewall of China. ;)

Watever it ish...don't get DOV-8E or K8.

Used to be ok. Work on BT. No live tv program but lots of movies to dl. Yes it stutter coz of dl speed but u can jus leave it alone till dl complete. A copy will be save to usb drive. U can now watch it smoothly after.

Jus b4 cny...download no longer work...and distributor say it might never work again...now moi using it to breed spider...:(:D

With a fast fibre connection companies like Starhub are losing their monopoly on pay TV channels.
It's cheaper to use services like Netflix.

With VPN people can bypass the Great Wall of China & the Great Wall of the US. No matter how bad the connection is with China. It can't be worse than watching .our FREE channels in Spore
