3 in 4 people in Asia want more sex

A recent Asia-Pacific Sexual Behaviours and Satisfaction Survey conducted found that 77 per cent of people in Asia and Australia desire more time in the bedroom, with men having a stronger desire (84 per cent) than women (69 per cent).

Men also reported a higher sex frequency of 8 times a month, compared to an average of about 7.4 times for women.

In addition, the survey found that spontaneity is not typical when it comes to bedroom behaviour.

Couples tend to know two to three hours in advance if they are going to have sex.

And it seems satisfaction in the bedroom leaves more to be desired.

Only about 50 per cent of respondents reported being very or extremely satisfied with their sex life.

For men suffering from premature ejaculation, sexual satisfaction drops to 39 per cent for both men and women.

The survey was conducted between March 18 and April 2 this year, among sexually active participants aged between 18 to 45.

More than 6,000 respondents from five major Australian cities, as well as eight countries in Asia including Singapore, were surveyed.
