Immediately after Reagan's death, the funeral service was started and by the 7th day, everything was over and the his body was laid to rest.

Now, let's look at Goh Keng Swee's situation:

Goh Keng Swee died on Fri morning on the 14th. The body of the late Dr Goh will lie in state at the Parliament from May 20-22. The state funeral service will be held on May 23, according to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office.

In total, it's spanning 10 days vs Regan's 7 days.
