Raging Inferno At Pulau Ubin!

SINGAPORE: The fire that broke out at Pulau Ubin on Wednesday (Jun 24) has been extinguished, confirmed the Singapore Police Force (SPF) on Thursday.

Channel NewsAsia understands that the fire was raging from as early as 9.15pm, and was estimated to be covering an area twice the size of a football field.

At least 10 officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force arrived at Pulau Ubin, where they were escorted by Police Coast Guard to the fire site near Ketam Bike Trail.

NEVER HEARD of a fire in Pulau Ubin, sinCE more than a century of colonial times, never needed a Fire Station nor fireman nor fire engine in Ubin. NEVER had SCDF also. Can only say it's SG50 SPECIAL MAGIC.
