Radiation treatment for neck cancer may cause thyroid cancer

Sometimes there’s no choice in life, if you have neck cancer only got few options chemo radiation or surgery. Trust me radiation still beat surgery, my father had both.

Understandable. May I know what's the outcome of his treatment now ?

Understandable. May I know what's the outcome of his treatment now ?

No treatment is dire outcome for head and neck cancers. Not I say one but study says so. As for my father his case is complicated, I think the doctors should not have done the surgery but radiation or chemo treatment is necessary.

Come to think of it three decades ago I already qualified to be semi cancer expert after going through much more than others in my first two decades of my life with my father’s stomach cancer followed by lymphoma. I see YouTube videos many cancer YouTubers started their fight full of hope because they do not know how evil and horrible some cancers are.

So proud of myself got such hard life not just ownself take care of university fees but got to deal with cancer of parent in my critical years that other people only deal with it in their 40s/50s when it doesn’t matter much.
