Well there is an option for him, don't pay the $1k to PAP govt, got to QRP for 5 days of R and R. Then after that spent the saved $1K to Haadyai for 5 days of R and R.
So totally he will get 10 days of R & R, 5 days in QRP, 5 days in Haadyai.
Then after he returns, he can change his nick here from QXP to QRP.
