Apart from Guard of Honour during parades, I don't see the bayonet anymore in the SAF. And I don't think it's attached to the SBO (now called load bearing vest or something). Have they phased it out totally?

Bayonet fighting is one of the toughest in BMT, have to shout until you lose your voice.

Bayonet is passe.
Must learn from Tiong army and form a 大刀队. The massive blade will strike fear into the hearts of the enemy.
This saber army makes the assumption your enemy will not be using guns and rifles against you, and will engage you up close and personal.

Bayonet fighting has been phased out quite a number of years ago. However, the bayonet is still used as an accessory for some ceremonies.

The BMT should implement pugil stick fighting like the US marines.

I think we should have laser pointer. Shine into enemy eyes and a kick to the groin.

So now when our soldier boys draw arms, it'll just be the rifle without the bayonet?
