Bastards definition of “revenge” is all the same. They did wrong thing to you first but you cannot fight them if not they will “revenge” on you.

Qing founder killed by hokkien cannons was such a shameful and shattering act to Qing bastards that they amended history to record the death as died from wounds.

No matter how the Qing tried to amend history of how their founder was killed by cannons made and operated by Hokkien artillery, the Ming history records stated clearly that during the fight using cannons a “big shot” in the main yellow cloth big tent was hit and the Qing soldiers rushed inside and removed the injured - that must be a king - wrapped in a red cloth on a horse carriage. The soldiers were crying loudly. The king can only be the Qing founder.

And this is the Qing founder killed by Hokkien cannons in 1626. He was the grandfather of the first Qing emperor that conquered China subsequently in 1644.

Basically because the Qing knew hokkiens are the only diligent, clever, resourceful, enterprising chinese with fighting spirit that will pose a big threat to them.
Just like what the Marco Polo book said Kublai khan knew hokkiens are the only chinese always uprising and revolting and that’s why he stationed a big army nearby Hokkien province to squash any revolts by hokkiens.
