近日，国内著名军事论坛“飞扬”报道了一个消息，美国最精锐的海豹突击队在叙利亚被不明武装袭击，战役过后，十个人全被打死。就在消息传出后，国内外军友都纷纷开始质疑海豹突击队的战斗力，是不是已经退步了。
海豹突击队通常以6人为一个战术小队，在执行任务时，小队就是基本的作战单位。此次消息称有十人被歼灭，笔者认为，这个十人的队伍，是已经被打残了的“穷寇”。很简单，原报道说海豹突击队在覆没前，曾想通过无人机试图联系总部。但是随后遭到的强电磁干扰，无人机无法操作，所以才导致殒命。而十人的编制，说明这不是常规的战术编制，应该是最少2个小队的残兵组成的。
回顾整个叙利亚战场，除了俄军之外的武装，都没实力和资格，单挑一个海豹突击队。所以，矛头都指向了同在叙利亚浴血的俄罗斯军队。毕竟除了俄罗斯有手段找到海豹突击队并围歼外（从海豹突击队试图联系大本营来看，很明显是难以从战场脱身），其它的武装份子，都没有。

不过，说是这么说。对于美国来说，突然失去了几个小队的海豹突击队，这着实让他们痛心不已。首先，从海豹突击队一个成员的培养经费来看，从选拔开始到通过测试并加入服役，这整个过程最少需要89万美金。这其中包括了装备的采购，人员的津贴和诸多的实验浪费。
而且，由于兵员有限，虽然美国拥有数十万的陆军士兵，但不代表人人都有资格成为海豹突击队的一员。而经历了数场战斗，实战经验丰富的，已经成了老兵。而老兵队伍，美国其实更少。即使是此前从伊拉克撤离的众多战斗部队，他们当中很大一部分，都不是直接战斗的。
