Cheaper made in China SU-35 can be affordable to many more enemies of USA. Iran for example can use oil to exchange SU-35 with China. Venezuela and Cuba as well.

By aircraft specification SU-35 beats F-35 & F-22 all the way in performnace figures: max speed, max service ceiling, max range, manuveribility (drastically) with the only exception that F-22 ceiling can fly 19km altitude while SU-35 is 18.2km, that is the only figure in a dozen of figures that USA have a upper hand.

For F-22 to be able to fly 1 extra km higher than SU-35 is not a significant combat advantage, because the air to air missiles are going to cover way more than just that 1 km, so if F-22 flu higher than SU-35 by that 1 km does not mean that it can excape better, the missile can shoot upwards to kill you anyway.

In the more important spec of max speed US F-35 is really lagged SU-35 by too much, this is a very leathal disadvantage realitically, to chase / escape: F-35 max speed mach 1.6 SU-35 max speed mach 2.25 !!! That is my car vs Ferrari !!! No fucking match.

The next critical spec is max range, SU-35 can fly 3600km F-35 only 2200km. That's like my max running distance vs Marathon runners !!! Half way I drop dead while they still running. No match either!!

Now that last thing, we check up the price tags:

F-35 = $135 million
F-22 = $150 million
SU-35 = $40 million from Russia

When SU-35 got made in China......... I expect to cut the price tag down by 25%-50% could be as cheap as @$20 million

What does that mean? For the same defense budget, you can buy & deploy more than 3 SU-35 for each F-22, actually close to 4. In the war, I can afford to lost 3 to 1 ratio, and I would still have balance after finishing off all of yours. But in the reversed, if I killed you 1 to 3, 75% of my fleet are still remainding after finishing off all of yours.

For the PRC's huge GDP and deep pocket they can afford easily many thousands more SU-35 fleet. The strategic advantage is very very strong over the USAF. That's why Bapok Obama and his friends are shitless and frightful.



Pantagon ordered about 2200 F-35 & less than 200 F-22, China can easily afford 10,000 SU-35 self made from this Putin sold production line, and the total cost still about half what Pantagon had spent. Not forgetting that USA is bankrupt and Chinese are very loaded.

What about munition? Do PRC defense industries able to produce state of the art missiles or PLA need to depend on russkis again? It not only the platforms that is important but the missiles and AWACS team play a big part too. PRC maybe loaded but that do not mean they will blow everything on weapons.

USA is very very fearful of PRC unmaned airplanes or drones these days. In space satellite and rocket field PRC is doing very advance, USA don't seem to enjoy any advantage over PRC in this field. That will be best parallel to compare in missiles which is the main muition. This week's news said Pantagon is fearful of new Chinese missiles made to kill aircraft carriers, and there are more capable new toys with Beijing much harder to defend than DF-21 carrier killers.

I however expect one aspect that PRC will still have to purchase from Putin that is the thermal target detection and tracking for missiles. Russians are the world best in this game, their systems detects American targets at very significant time and distance advantage over the US radar and thermal system. The game today is SEE FIRST FIRE FIRST = Winner. Even when you fire flares or thermal counter-measures, your chance of escaping from Russian missiles are slim. Becase at the final strike distance where you fire these things, missiles are already very close. They switch to optical or microwave proximity homing apart from thermal, at this final stage.

Chinese frightened the world shitless years ago by firing a missile into space to shoot away one of of their own old satellites. That trigger a big round of PRC THREAT KPKB from the world. Munition to shoot down satellite from ground is much more advance than those shooting aircrafts. The level of technology with PRC is sufficently advanced for the coming wars. Not only far in the space the satelites are many many times higher speed than aircrafts, the missile to hit it have to fly through the air into vacum space passing through very harsh extreme thermal environmental conditions. Much harder for ground control to track and command that missile shooting a satellite than to to shoot a plane.

Yes, you are right, Your point is eyes, vs mussles. SU-35 F-35 etc are the mussles. Satellites and AWACs & ground radars are eyes. Different functions. When your mussles are weak, good eyes also no use. In a war very soon your eyes would be blinded / bruised by enemy's mussles, if your own mussles are weak. AWACs Ground Radars and Satellite bases are very vulnarable targets themselves (big fat easy targets) and survived only if their own fighter plane could protect them. AWACs Ground air defence assets are gone in piles of smokes when SU-35 come in and fire at them. So you can clearly see the enemies coming, you sent your F-35 to fight them, but your F-35s are finished off by SU-35s, then they come in and fire on your eyes. You could clearly see them coming, you could clearly see them shoot down each and every of your F-35s, your balls dropped, then your eyes suddenly blinded, then missiles blasted your ass up into the air, enemies won already loh.
