The MDA recently fined mediacorp $4500 for DJ Glenn Ong comment last year about something to do with mentally unstable people
in public places whether they're a nusaince or posing a danger to the public.
his reply to listener goes like these."if you have to put these mad dogs to sleep,then you should".(Glenn Ong class95fm)
MediaCorp in defense of its dj explain that,He did not mean to link thee individuals to 'crazy dogs'.
"what he meant to say was that if a dog had attacked someone,measure would be taken,so in the same vein,mentally unstable people should be monitored to protect other members of the public from danger".
there could be some true in it that they should be monitor closely because i just had kopi with a close friend yesterday
and he told me he was a medic officer in the civil defence during his NS,he says at least 3x a week he and his ambulance crew has
reponse to emergency calls regarding mentally unstable people trying to commit sucide or causing hurt to the public,
he says that these cases are all not reported in the paper.
Seriuosly the recent culling of the wild pigs and monkeys in spore is uncalled for,i don't see them a danger to the public at all.
wild pigs and monkeys are friendly by nature,they only attack if provoke,oue Nparks board should leave these poor aniamals alone
and should monitor closely the danger right close to the heartland.
