Nomination Day for the Punggol East Constituency will start 11am on Jan 16, with the nomination centre being North Vista Secondary School.
Members of the public keen to show their support are advised to arrive only after 10am, and to take public transport to the centre as only vehicles with authorised parking labels will be allowed entry.
They are also advised not to bring along bags to avoid inconvenience that may be caused due to security checks. No placards, flags, or banners of any candidates are allowed before the close of nomination proceedings.

Candidates campaigning for the Jan 26 Punggol East by-election will be able to apply to hold meetings and vehicle processions from Wednesday, which is Nomination Day.
Outdoor election meetings can be held between 7am and 10pm from Jan 17 to Jan 24 at permitted venues. Indoor election meetings will be held between timings stated in the permit application form.
The use of vehicles fitted with loudspeakers is only allowed between 2pm and 10pm on Wednesday, and between 7am and 10pm from Thursday, Jan 17 to Jan 24.
No fee will be levied by the Police for permit applications. Forms can be obtained in person from the Police Elections Liaison Office, and may also be downloaded online at www.spf.gov.sg/elections from 3pm Tuesday.
All election agents should be present at the office at 2pm on Wednesday to be briefed on the permit application process. Elections Department officers can be contacted at 1800-225-5353 for more information.
