Why should the British taxpayers give their money to so called poor countries like India who have a space race, Mars Mission, nuclear weapons, modern fighter jets, and worlds most expensive ID card system being rolled out?

UK to India No. 3 Economies & Nuclear Power - 自己顾自己, No more aid!

United Kingdom is going to end all its aid to India. The 280 million GBP annual grants will stop immediately. Though, the on-going programs will continue until 2015.

Many right-wing UK politicians have long been questioning its rational. They say that India, the country that spends billions of dollars on defence and space programme should not be receiving aid. At the same time UK had to deal with its own record budget deficit and austerity measures.
