Horse semen shot anyone?
annabelle sheldon yahoo!7
A pub in Wellington, New Zealand has created an apple-infused horse semen shot which tastes "like custard."
Who knew that one day an apple-infused horse semen shot would be all the rage? Well apparently it is at the Green Man Pub in Wellington, New Zealand.
The horse semen shot was created by the pub as an entry in the 14th annual Monteith’s Beer & Wild Food Challenge.
The shot is proving to be popular among the ladies; although chef Jason Varley told The Dominion that “a couple of them were worried they might bear children with long faces.”
Men have not taken to the drink as much as the women, although one brave male who did try it said it tasted “like custard.”
The semen is not cheap, costing $300 for 20 vials which could turn out to be a hefty investment if people keep wanting to sample it.
But Varley doesn’t think so, “No one‘s addicted to it, lets put it that way.”
Surprisingly horse semen isn’t new to New Zealanders. At the Hokitika Wild Foods Festival last March, another type of horse semen shots were created and came in cherry, licorice and banoffee pie flavours.
Race horse owner and semen supplier Lindsey Kerslake, who has never tried his product, said he was assured it is delicious and to “think of it like a milkshake.”
"Horses are pure testosterone, you know. They have hardly any cholesterol, so the idea is you knock it back and feel like a stallion yourself,” he said.
Unfortunately Kerslake was not able to back up the beneficial effects as test were yet to be conducted.
Would you down a horse semen shot? Do you think the semen would be beneficial for a human?
