【星島日報報道】持政治學碩士學位的南亞漢去年10月於輕鐵元朗總站將一名近六旬清潔女工推落路軌，令女工嘴唇下顎裂傷及左手㬹骨折。南亞漢早前承認一項傷人罪，法官指酒精並不是他向別人施以惡行的藉口，考慮公眾利益後今於區域法院判處該南亞漢監禁3年零4個月。
杜大衛法官判刑時指女事主梁有娣，被被告Qazi Jamshed推落路軌後患有創傷後遺症（Post-traumatic stress disorder， 簡稱PTSD），梁於事故發生後十分害怕陌生人及再次到訪元朗，不時會在晚上病理性在其腦袋重現當日被推事故，食慾不振令體重亦急劇下降20磅，連提起茶壺及扭毛巾的力氣都沒有。但梁的傷勢在物理治療及職業治療的配合下日趨好轉，而其傷勢並不算同類案件中最嚴重。
57歲被告Qazi Jamshed曾在大律師事務所任職高級法律文員，亦曾任律政司傳譯員，但犯案纍纍並曾多次入獄。辯方今作進一步求情時表示，被告與妻兒疏遠、被妻子趕出家門而露宿街頭、兄弟姐妹亦於多年前於家鄉慘遭殺害，故以酒精減輕心靈上痛楚，已有逾20年的酗酒問題。辯方指被告在港任職文員時不時出席社交酒局，亦令酗酒問題惡化。而且被告一直想返鄉巴基斯坦，但因經濟問題不成事，被告妻子亦需要被告的協助來養育兒子。辯方指女事主的傷勢不算最嚴重，亦沒有造成致命危險，故冀法官三思後輕判。
