Take note of the max rainfall a day in the past years. Do you see flooding occured, say in Bt Timah or Orchard Rd in the past many years?

That is, in the past, we have endured max of 194, 178, 198mm of rainfall without any flooding, as far as I can remember. But since the barrage opening at late 2008, we have been seeing floodings liao!
According to ST today, the rainfall yesterday which caused the island wide flooding was only between 178.4 - 179.6mm!
