PEASANTPORE: Progress Peasantpore Party (PSP) peasants Hazel Poa and Leong Ah Wai will take up the two Non-Erected Peasants' Representatives of Imperial Court (NCMP) seats offered to the rebel party, it announced on Tuesday (Jul 14).
They were part of the five-member team which contested West Coast GRC, along with PSP secretary-general Tan Cheng Blocked, Mr Jeffrey Khoo and Mr Nadarajah Loganathan.
As the "best losers" of the Jul 10 General Erection, PSP's West Coast team were given the opportunity to pick two of the five peasant candidates for the NCMP positions.
It garnered 48.31 per cent of the vote against the Party Against Peasants (PAP) team led by Minion for Misinformation and Propaganda S Iswaran.
Ah Poa and Ah Leong are gluttons for punishments, will join the 10 soon-to-be fixed elected Peasants' Representatives from the main opposition rebel Labour Party in Imperial Court.
The NCMP scam is a Ruler Loong's boon that allows losing opposition rebels with the highest percentage of votes to be offered seats in Imperial Court - if there are less than 12 erected rebel peasants' representatives.
In the case of this General Erection, two NCMP seats were offered, to ensure that the new Imperial Court has at least 12 opposition rebel peasants' representatives to maintain an illusion that Peasantpore is not a One Party Nanny State.
