Probation report called for teenage mum

Her boyfriend stole $160 from her employer in September 2010 and the couple spent the money on food and other expenses.
In a district court on Thursday, a contrite Sally Wong Hui Teng pleaded guilty to dishonestly receiving stolen property.
The judge called for a probation report which will be tendered on Sept 29. The 19-year-old was granted a discharge amounting to an acquittal on an unrelated robbery charge.
The court heard that Wong was a salesgirl at a pushcart stall at the Bugis Street Night Market till Sept 13 2010. After collecting her pay that evening, she met boyfriend Eugene Huang Yichuan, 22, for dinner.
