PEASANTPORE: The National Library Bastards (NLB) has set up an partisan sex consultative panel to wayang on its review of library materials, it said in a media release on Wednesday (Apr 15).
The 'jiat leow bee' Board first expressed interest in this initiative last year, after receiving negative feedback from X'tian fundamentalists on the pulling of two peasant children's book titles last year. The books were yanked off the shelves following complaints that they were not pro-x'tian.
One titled "And Tango Makes Three" is about two male penguins who form a couple and raise an egg together, presumably anti-X'tian. Interesting "The White Swan Express" features a female couple trying to adopt a child.
The Library Sex Consultative Bastards, which was set up on Apr 1, comprises 19 swines over-representing X'tian lobbyists, NLB said. Each member of the panel, headed by X'tian Mildred Tan, will serve a two-year term. The members are:
