Premium Bus Services - First Class fares, Third Class service?

Base on my observation, current premium/express bus operations have not met the original objectives of the Premium Bus concept. It has also become quite clear that Singaporeans paying for the Premier services do not get to enjoy the premium service standards as Premium buses are often as crowded as traditional bus lines. My fear is that bus operators will be creating even more Premium bus lines to meet the requirements that should have been met by traditional bus lines. The result of this is a subtle and disguised mechanism that increases the transportation cost in Singapore.
