PRC hooligan bullies airport staff for announcing English before Mandarin even though it's an international airport

This is what happened when low SES people are going to other people's land and demand
the host to cater to them and not they come in as guest. Should refuse to let them in.

Nothing to do with class
It is China issue

PRC complain in their PRC airport so what? why bother with their internal affairs?? :roflmao:
If it is in their country, why the international airport is not using Pu tong hua first? But he also lashed at the wrong tree...
Cannot even write a proper complaint to the airport management group.

He siao. Bark at staff for what?
Shld do a complaint online or management level.
Just show he's just a low brain low crass prc

They got a point. I too will lodge a complain why no announcement made in malay at changi. Malays have been too complacent and polite. It's time we take the island back.

Also in SQ flights all announcements should be our national language

so very funny ... why U so upset so bothered with ATs monkey business inside their AT Land leh?? relax lah :roflmao:

It's an inferiority complex at work. Deep down, they see themselves as belonging to a lower SES, and because that group happens to be the majority, they try to leverage their "home-ground advantage" to pressure those from higher socioeconomic backgrounds to assimilate into their culture.

The use of English by officials becomes a constant reminder that they are operating in an environment where English is closely associated with education, professional success, and higher SES. No one needs to tell them they are lower SES as the comparison is already implicit. The resulting discomfort manifests as hostility toward English and demands that everyone else conform, not because English is inherently objectionable, but because it symbolizes a status hierarchy they find uncomfortable.

So the next time if you need to visit a HDB estate, remember not to drive your luxury car. Those living in HDB estates expect you to take public transport.

Just whack this PRC dog la. Go other people cuntry jjww how they do things.

No wonder some other tiongs also look down on these kind of tiongs. Really xia suay throw entire nation face.

it’s regulation for all international airports and airlines. icao doc 10086. english followed by the native language of the host cuntry. whereas iata recommends that engrish be used universally for travel announcements. icao sets the standards for air travel and is the sole authority under the un charter. iata is only a trade organization and recommends best practices. major airports normally have announcers at the pa or all-terminal level with bilingual ability. but not all gate agents are bilingual or fluent in the local tongue. if a gate agent who speaks local language cannot be found, english must still be used for any announcements by default. most major airports will have announcements in several languages. at haneda you’ll hear at least 3: engrish, jap, chink. it depends on the passenger composition at the airport. eventually in changi there’ll be hindi announcements. namaste! welcum to ceca island.
