Haha...... back in the 70s we put these ang kong siao ah bengs into hokkien platoons and send them to those "siong" units (eg. commando, armour infantry etc) while the educated school boys get comfy postings like clerks, musicians etc :p

Last time i was in combat engineers during 93/4 and the hokkien pengs really look like those in the picture. Very good and funny people if you are their friend.
