What on earth gives those self-righteous people the right to bring down Mr LKY, his family and even PAP?
Bitching & gossiping about their assets, past deeds, wishing for bad fortune to fall on them, meting out death sentences as if you are God & blah blah blah. Gosh, even worse than the aunties at the market. This is just like what the Chinese idiom says: “潑婦罵街”.
If you think you can do better, go be our govt. Try running a country so that you won’t be forever seeing things from a micro view.
If you think Singapore system is failing, you never knew how it was like to be staying overseas. I do.
Singapore is an immigrant nation to start with. Many of our ancestors are from foreign land. Does that mean they are foreign trash? Oh come on, please wake up your idea.
Don’t assume that you know Mr LKY & his family well enough for you to say that they do not regard the feelings of Singaporeans. You had never been in their position. How can you be so sure that what you feel is correct and not a figment of your monkey mind?
And just because you think PAP is lousy, how can that be a great reason to vote for any opposition, without assessing both parties’ capabilities fairly? Jeez, how air-headed.
Don’t generalise by saying Singaporeans are poor and innocent. Not all are. How can you be so sure that people who mourn for Mdm Kwa do not empathise with others as well? Don’t be so presumptous.
There are people who don’t want to study when they can, don’t want a job because they don’t like the job scope even when there is no other offer, don’t give money to their aging parents and don’t bother to bring the parents for their medical appointments.
Some people are not responsible citizens. And there are even many more who are not responsible to their families. Don’t just push all the blame to the government so conveniently.
Government hospitals are heavily subsidised. By the taxpayers money. So for anyone who has seen a doctor at a government hospital, you are using the taxpayers’ money. In fact, when you step onto the road/walkway or throw a rubbish in the dustbin at the busstop, it is paid for by taxpayers. All of us use the taxpayers money to a huge extent. So don’t get pompous and finger point at Mdm Kwa for that.
I can’t figure out what has the Lee family wealth got to do with the people who are so ‘concerned’ about it. We should get into an uproar over that? Then should the government get into a uproar and post on public websites if you are earning a lot more than the others?
Are you expecting our political leaders to just earn, say a few thousand a month, for what they have to do? They are like, almost 24 hours on call for their roles. Gosh, this is like the small shareholder kicking up a fuss over the pay of the CEO, thinking he knows better but in fact, has never ever, and probably never would, run an MNC before.
